Marguerite Hampson McCauley Miller, '52

     Marguerite Hampson McCauley Miller passed away on March 19, 2010 in Anaheim at age 75 due to heart failure after a prolonged period of declining health.  She was a great lady and a true inspiration to her family and friends.

     She was born in Burbank and raised in Fillmore where she graduated with the Fillmore High class of 1952.  She is preceded in death by her father, Jack Hampson; mother, Mae Hampson Morey; and step-father, Al Morey of Fillmore.  She is survived by her husband, Will Miller of Anaheim; her sister, Jackie and brother-in-law, Tom Nelson of Meridian, ID; her daughters, Monica (Mike) Turner of Las Vegas, NV; Janet Smith McCauley of Friday Harbor, WA; Lynn (Dan) Porges of Woodland, CA; son, Mark McCauley of Jamestown, CA; stepdaughter, Kathleen (Jim) Glover of Newport Beach, CA.  She leaves a large family of relatives including six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, with another soon to be.  She will be missed by all.   At her request there was no formal service.  Family and friends will gather to celebrdate her life in Davis, CA on June 12.  Anyone wishing to join in may contact Phil McCauley at 360-378-3485.
