Wesley DeWayne Swift, May 2, 1935-March 8, 2010.  Wesley married Cleola Brown on June 24, 1955.  He is survived by his wife and their three daughters, Beth Swift, of Parker, CO; Debbie Swift of Temple TX; and Marilyn Fabricius and son-in-law Don of Bakersifeld, CA . DeWayne and Cleola were blessed with seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

     Wesley was the eldest son of Bill and Maude Swift and is survived by brothers, Tom (Linda) of Norman, OK and Bart (Eva) of Taft, CA.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Wesley was a Bakersfield resident for more than 32 years and was very active in the Moose Lodge.  He was a member of the Lodge since 1981, participating as Governor, Legion and 25 years of Fellowship service.  He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved bowling and golf.  He also liked having all the grandkids over on the weekends for a BBQ and pool time.  He was retired after working in the oilfields for more than 50 years.  He will be missed by many.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to Hoffmann Hospice.  Memorial service will be at a later date at Stockdale Moose Lodge.
