Richard "Dick" Wieland passed away peacefully on September 17, 2007 at his home in Silverlake, CA.  Dick was born in Los Angeles on December 13, 1933 to Isabella and Harvey Wieland.  He graduated from Fillmore High School in 1951 and from Woodbury Business College.  He served in the U. S. Army from 1957 through 1958. Dick held various position with Barker Brothers, Silverwoods, Men's Wear Magazine and Let's Live Magazine.  He is survived by his sister,Marilyn Reisner (Don) of Sacramento, his three sons, TimWieland, Pleasant Hill, Kevin Wieland, Hermosa Beach and Mark Wieland, Norwell, MA; his grandchildren, Karena and Cole Wieland; his four nieces and their husbands.  Dick was an avid reader, loved the movies, travel and visiting with friends and family.  Memorial services will be held at a future date.
