On Wednesday, April 11, the Fillmore High Scholarship Committee met with Ben Aguirre, Nicole Appenzeller, Jaclyn Avila, Megan Baker, Lindsey Bricker, Jose Herrera, Mario Lugo, Denise Magana, Nicholas Medina and B rittany Nunes.

  The committee felt this was the best group of scholarship applicants that have met with the scholarship committee.

  The top selections, by the scholarship committee, are being given to  John Lemley '61 who is offering two scholarships of $3,500 for four years with a lap top thrown into their selection.

  This selection has held up the awarding of the other scholarships until later in he month; however, every graduate who applied and was interviewed by the commitee will have some form of scholarship.

  It was a most enjoyable time to meet with these excellent graduates of Fillmore High in the Class of 2006. All graduates should be proud of these young people.

Thirty six seniors applied for the scholarships offered by the alumni association.
