Obituary: Richard Grapp '52

died March 5, 2007, following a long illness in Fort Bragg, CA.
Richard was born on November 18, 1933, in Minneapolis, MN, to Kenneth and Bonni Grapp. He was 73 years of age. A private gathering was planned.
Richad spent his formative years in Minneapolis, MN, then moved with his family to Piru, CA, in 1946. He graduated from Fillmore High School in 1952, then met and married his former wife, Bobbie Grapp in 1953.
He was drafted into the U. S. Army in May 1953, served two years in France and returned home in 1955. Toether they made their home in Piru, CA, where their two sons, Joe and Ronald Grapp were born.
Mr. Grapp moved his family to Fort Bragg in 1963. There he worked for both the Santa Rosa Press Democrat and the San Francisco Chronicle newspapers.
In 1969 he became the vice president for Challenger Homes Sales in Fort Bragg retiring in 1974.
He is srvived by his former wife, Bobbie Grapp, sons, Joe and Ronald Grapp, all of Fort Bragg.
