Overview

Fillmore High Alumni Association

   Board of Directors - the group overseeing the operation of the alumni and      approving/or not approving suggestions by members and the executive director.

   By laws - which govern the alumni association.

   Newsletter - the key communication of the alumni associations along with the annual dinner in June.

  This is what "holds" the organization together with communication by all who wish

to tell their stories--new or old. Subscriptions are solicited, class reunions advertised and contact with class mates is encouraged.

  Executive Director - someone willing to "keep things on track" and work with the direction of the

  Board of Directors."

  Alumni Committees - assist the alumni board and executive director: The committees named are:

  Dinner, Festival, Finance, Homecoming, Mailing, Newsletter, Parade of Classes,    Reunions, Scholarship, Tours and Unknown addresses. Board members get graduates to assist them-- spreading out the activity and you find "active members in this way!

  Computer - has a complete listing of all graduates, as class members, with year of graduation, and

addresses,

and spouse (if married).:

receipts for Flashbacks (newsletter) subscription

receipts for scholarship donations

receipts for memorials

receipts for donations for: Life or life/spouse memberships

Alumni Association

Hall of Fame restoration

Storage locker

issues mailing labels for alumni, newsletter and class reunions

  Class Representatives have been in the past and are now being revived. A class member who

would be the contact between the alumni association and the class.

This class representative:

helps update list of classmates prior to a reunion; also during the years after graduation

gives information of the class actitivites to the newsletter editor.

The organization is incorporated as a non-profit organization. Therefore, any contributions are tax free!
