Alumni Office is right in the middle of reviewing and scoring Scholarship Applications, however Fillmore High is Having a C.I.F. Parade, and Celebration for their new Champions. Boys Soccer 2016! The Alumni Association is proud to support their Alma Mater, and prepare for the big night in Downtown Fillmore. Even the Alumni President, Mark Ortega ’79 is getting into the spirit and playing “Sheriff” with the “NO PARKING” signs that will be put out tomorrow during the day on Central Avenue between Sespe Ave, and Main Street. Looks like it will be a fun evening in downtown. The Parade starts at 6:30pm at the corner of second Street, and Central heading south in front of the High School, then ending by the Movie Theater where theCelebration will begin in front of Central Station around 7:00pm. Come on out and bring out your Folding Chairs. The Fillmore Local Car clubs will have their beautiful cars parked downtown at 6:00. Music from the 50’s 60’s and up will be playing. Come out and support the local merchants, and especially the two local restaurants. La Fondita, and Central Station. In addition to our local restaurants, there will be some great food trucks parked downtown. Grill Cheese Truck, Ohmygosh Hot Dog, Everything bundt Cakes, and more. It’s a fun Thursday evening in Downtown Fillmore. Come be a part of it!
